ECU Women in Business is a student-run university society.
Founded in August 2017, ECU Women in business runs under ECU’s School of Business and Law. We aim to provide a supportive network at ECU for all students and create as well as promote opportunities for students in professional industries via professional events and mentoring program. We strive to eliminate gender inequality and discrimination in workplaces and plan to expand our focus to other diversity groups in the future.
ECU Women in Business welcomes students from across different courses, undergraduates and postgraduates, domestic and international students of all ages and genders.
We believe innovation to be the key to success in today’s competitive society. We endeavour to provide students with opportunities and skills, which enable them to utilise innovative thinking and see their own potential in revolutionising future industries.
Our goal is to provide a variety of tools to ECU students, from ourselves and from relevant industry bodies, which may enable individuals to maintain professionalism in workplace situations.
We are inclusive of all diversity groups, and strongly believe that all individuals should be given the opportunity to excel, whether this is regarding employment and professional pursuits, or their academic careers.
We will not discriminate, and welcome members from all diversity groups. We encourage all ECU students to make use of our services.
